Delta EtherCAT Remote Module R1-EC Series
The R1-EC5500D0 gateway type E-bus remote power coupler acts as an accessing station for the EtherCAT slaves and connects to the digital I/O remote modules, analog I/O remote modules and pulse remote modules on the EtherCAT network for remote control.
Delta’s R1-EC Series is designed for faster, real-time precision applications with competitive advantage for machinery applications and various remote extension modules which feature:
EMC immunity based on ESD, EFT, RS (IEC 61131-2, IEC 61000-4-2) and high vibration resistance conforming to EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27/29.
Digital input (DI): 0.1ms and 2ms in different models
Digital output (DO): 0.5A at each port
Analog input and output (AI/AO): 16bit high resolution for accurate measurement
Single-axis pulse output module supports CW/CCW and AB phase mode which
correspond to CIA401 criterion
All modules can be utilized by E-BUS as a slave terminal.
Ethernet Central Automation Technology (EtherCAT) is an open Ethernet-based fieldbus system that provides high-efficiency and high-performance synchronization quality for automation control. With EtherCAT, Delta's EtherCAT motion control cards achieve rapid and real-time multiple axes of motion control, and are capable of controlling up to 64 slave stations that enable a 32-axis motion control within 1ms cycle time. The cards also provide 35 homing modes, point-to-point position control, 2-axis interpolation, 3-axis interpolation, multi-axis synchronization, continuous motion, gantry control, speed control, torque control and more.
