Linear Actuators - Direct Drive Servo Linear Motors

SMAC provides a comprehensive selection of electric linear actuators, ranging from units with 5mm stroke in a compact unit only 10mm in height, to units with 150mm of stroke length or up to 500N peak force. As with all SMAC actuators, the LAL series linear actuator has the unique ability to enable free and independent control of velocity, position and force simultaneously. Further to this, the SMAC patented "Soft-Land" function is incorporated to allow delicate and controlled force when landing on fragile components.

Standard resolution on all SMAC actuators is 5µm with 1µm and 0.1µm options available on most models. Please contact us with any special requirements you may have.

NOTE: SMAC insists that all units must be operated with a 40% maximum duty cycle.
