Elmo's SimplIQ digital servo drives combine high power density, intelligent functionality and space-friendly design. The drives integrate Elmo's advanced, SimplIQ motion control core technology, which enables superior control performance, offers advanced programming capabilities and supports standard communication protocols. All the drives in the series include a fully digital motion controller that features current, velocity and position loops and a wide range of commutation types and position feedbacks. The result: higher dynamics and increased precision for a wide variety of implementations.

DC Input : 7.5 to 800 VDC - DC brush, Sinusoidal, trapezoidal motors

• Gold servo drives have a higher and wider servo performance Bandwidth, Current, Velocity, Position, Dual Loop, Gantry, etc. The Gold Line has a significantly wider current (Torque) and dynamic range.

• SimplIQ servo drives support CANopen Communication.

• Gold servo drives support EtherCAT & CANopen, and real-time of the latter is significantly improved.

• Gold servo drives support any feedback and have higher capabilities, performance and flexibilities in feedback manipulation for dual loops, Gantry, MIMO, etc.

Trombone Series

A PCB-mounted servo drive that operates directly from the mains (up to 400 VDC or 780 VDC power source) and delivers up to 10 kW of continuous qualitative power.

Trombone Digital Servo Drive

The Trombone is a new addition to Elmo’s SimplIQ product suite - intelligent digital servo drives for sinusoidal, trapezoidal and DC motors.

This servo drive is PCB-mounted and it provides top performance, coupled with intelligent networking capabilities in a high level programming environment.

A Feature-rich Solution

The Trombone is truly feature-rich, combining high power density, programming flexibility, CANopen networking and numerous motion control features, resulting in a very effective solution for a wide variety of challenging applications.

There are two single DC bus options: 80 – 400 VDC and 200 – 750 VDC, with a built-in smart supply for controlling the back-up capabilities. The Trombone can also operate with a 24 VDC auxiliary power supply for the back-up features.
