Happy New Year! Despite many unique challenges last year, E-Motion continues to deliver brand new automation products for our wonderful customers in the U.S. and around the world.
We had a busy end to 2020 and this e-news will recap them for you! This month we recommend Delta automation products because of their high performance and reliability. Delta's AC Motor Drives can efficiently control motor speed, improve machine automation, and save energy. Each Drive series of VFD (VFD is shorted for Variable Frequency Drive) is designed to meet specific application needs. And furthermore, Delta's DVP series programmable logic controllers (PLC) offer high-speed, stable, and exceptionally reliable applications in all kinds of industrial automation machines. Delta’s HMI products provide various communication ports for fast communication and convenient control of a diverse range of machines, systems, and facilities.

Delta Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)

The VFD-C2000 series is a high-level field-oriented control AC motor drive with a high-performance variable-frequency technology, FOC control. It features versatile driving controls, modular design, wide variety of applications, easy maintenance, low malfunction rate, self-diagnosis and competitive market price and brings customers not only the high-efficiency construction but also the most economical solution to compete with the global market.

The VFD-CP2000 is specifically designed for applications such as air blowers, pumps, and HVAC drives with its intelligent PID control providing the greatest efficiency. The Sensor less Vector Control (SVC) offers timely response to load torque increase/decrease which satisfies customer requirements for load changes while enhancing motor performance.

The VFD-MS300 series is a standard compact vector control drive that inherits Delta’s superior drive technology. It supports both IM and PM motor control for application flexibility and provides STO safety mechanism. Also, built-in various essential functions, including PLC capacity for simple programming needs, a communication slot for various communication cards, and a USB port to make data uploads and downloads fast and easy. Saving space, reducing setup and wiring time, while providing high efficiency and stability system —all included in the MS300 series with drive size reduced up to 40%.

	The VFD-E series represent Delta Electronics low horsepower, constant torque, IP20 rated Drive. Modular in design with flexible extension cards and a built-in PLC function, the E drive offers the ability to write and to execute simple Ladder Logic programs. This state-of-the-art series meets a full range of application requirements.
	The VFD-EL series is multiple function new generation micro type AC drive. It has built in EMI filter, RFI switch, easy DC bus sharing for side-by-side installation, high precision current detection, overload protection, and a built-In keypad.

Delta Programmable logic controllers (PLC)

Programmable logic controller (PLC) is a control system using electronic operations. Its easy storing procedures, handy extending principles, functions of sequential/position control, timed counting and input/output control are widely applied to the field of industrial automation control. Delta's DVP series programmable logic controllers offer high-speed, stable, and highly reliable applications in all kinds of industrial automation machines. In addition to fast logic operation, bountiful instructions and multiple function cards, the cost-effective DVP-PLC also supports various communication protocols, connecting Delta's AC motor drive, servo, human machine interface and temperature controller through the industrial network in to a complete "Delta Solution" for all users. 1

Delta Human Machine Interface (HMI)

A human machine interface (HMI) is a platform which permits interaction between users and automation equipment. Delta’s HMI products provide various communication ports for fast communication and convenient control of a diverse range of machines, systems, and facilities. The color touchscreen enables intuitive parameter entry and a variety of ways to display variable data, including trend graphs and alarm elements. The high-resolution LCD display visualizes operating, monitoring and efficient control in real time. In addition, the user-friendly editing software guides users in quickly creating easy-to-navigate visual icons and easily designing intuitive monitoring screens for applications, while making adjustments, scheduling, and programming operational sequences that enhance flexibility and save development time. This achieves rapid system development that simplifies wiring and installation, saves operating expenses, and makes systems more efficient, eliminating time-consuming adjustment and additional maintenance costs.

Delta Servo Systems

Delta servo system is an omni bearing integrated servo system which is based on Delta's strength in industrial and electronic technology and developed for different customers' requirements of various application machine tools. All ASDA series servo drives are provided with a superior digital signal processor (DSP) which represents a high-speed performance of the control circuit loop. Besides, the other features of Delta ASDA series, including gain tuning, smooth motor operation and software analysis / monitor function, also provide high-speed and high-precision motion control for a wide range of industrial automation applications.

Delta Industrial Ethernet Total Solution provides Ethernet products with enhanced hardware design, a user-friendly software interface, packet protection and compatibility with multiple industrial communication standards. With the rise of industrial automation technology and intelligent municipal engineering systems, the Ethernet, with its advantages of high speed, high stability and high compatibility, has become the most popular and widely used communication protocol. All of Delta’s Ethernet products are certified to UL, CE and FCC standards.
