The economic success of your wind turbine mainly depends on the reliability of the components used. For this reason we have developed specific solutions for pitch and azimuth drives ensuring reliable operation of the plants. The special requirements are long maintenance cycles, resistance to environmental influences and a tight braking-torque tolerance. Especially in the offshore area, the requirements for corrosion protection and robustness are very high.



Properties:

  • Three sizes with braking torques of 35 to 250 Nm

  • Enclosure corresponding to IP66 also with manual release

  • Suitable for fitting a rotary transducer

  • Wear measurement in the mounted state

  • Can be used to -40°C (cold climate version CCV)

  • Stable braking torque and specific mode of emergency manner even after a failure

  • Reduction of the power consumption by up to 75% through control via bridge/half-wave rectifier

  • Can be controlled via pulse width modulation (PWM)
